6 months ago I was just stepping off a plane returning from Malta. A small group of young adults came from all over the world to seek the Lord together on a tiny island in the middl of the mediterrainian ocean.
I had the immense privilege of teaching through 1&2 Corinthians and the Pastoral Epistles (1&2 Timothy and Titus.) I would say it's impossible to study these books without highlighting Paul's heart for missions. A heart that was proactive in seeking areas of opportunity. A heart willing to go out and reach the lost. A heart willing to sacrifice self in the service of others.
Fastforward to today and I am blessed to see one of the students is emulating that heart. Hannah Stover is stepping out in faith and moving to Kosovo to serve the church there. This girl is one of the students who actually taught me a lot. She constantly had eyes for the needy and broken and would spark up conversations with strangers and tell them about God's love for them. She would remind us all of the refugee Crisis which God had placed as a burden on her heart. She is an outward focused person and is stepping out, much like Paul, and moving to an unknown land to share the gospel with others.
Please pray for her! The sacrifice of leaving friends and loved ones, of leaving routine and home is a very big one. You can find out more through her blog which she will be updating regularly. You can find it here to keep in the loop with her travels and ministry and to find links to support her financially.
I am SO proud of Hannah and this new season of her life. Pray for her and the people of Kosovo!
